This great farmers market runs from 7:30 until 11:00 every Saturday and it is a great place to sample local grown produce. You will also find beautiful island flowers. You could hike to the top of Diamond Head early in the morning and stop at the Farmer’s Market on the way back for a delicious snack!

There are over a hundred shops and vendor carts with everything from jewelry to swimwear. Are you looking for a frame for your favorite vacation photo? You will definitely find it here! In addition to great shopping, there is wonderful food to be eaten and sometimes entertainment!

Drive to the North Shore. If you just hang out in Honolulu you are missing out on the full Hawaiian experience. A drive to the North Shore will unveil a different side of the island. Go from the frantic and touristy atmosphere of Waikiki to the quiet, laid back style of the North Shore.

This area of Oahu is made up of small, beach towns and lots of wide open space and beaches galore! If you go in the winter, take precautions when you visit the beaches. The winter waves on the North Shore are popular with surfers, but they can be deadly for a novice.
